Responsibilities of the Editorial Board
Editorial Board members are expected to:
· Provide academic guidance on journal scope, standards, and strategic direction
· Support the peer review process by reviewing manuscripts or recommending qualified reviewers
· Promote ethical publishing practices and compliance with COPE principles
· Advise on special issues, thematic collections, and emerging research areas
· Promote JESBER within national, regional, and international academic networks
· Declare any conflict of interest in relation to submitted manuscripts
· Maintain confidentiality regarding manuscripts and editorial deliberations
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently and are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Editorial Board members do not influence decisions where conflicts of interest exist.
